The  STIHL® FSA 70 R cordless grass trimmer offers a perfect combination of high cutting power and low weight. It is ideal for private gardening, such as cutting medium-sized grass, trimming lawn edges and carrying out various maintenance tasks . The Rapid Click system offers additional convenience: the trimmer head can be quickly and easily removed at the touch of a button. Thanks to the Advanced EasySpool system, you can also easily wind new cutting line onto the trimmer head by hand .

The brushless EC motor has a 2-stage variable speed control that allows you to adjust the speed to your needs directly on the control handle. If you want to work at lower speeds, for example for lighter work such as maintaining edges, it is best to choose ECO mode (level 1). This reduces your energy consumption and therefore extends the battery life . On the other hand, if you need to carry out more demanding work, such as trimming thick grass, simply select level 2 using the slide switch to benefit from the full power of your machine. The speed automatically adapts to the mounted cutting tool and can be infinitely adjusted . In addition, thanks to intelligent electronics, the FSA 70 R always delivers consistently high power, regardless of the battery charge status.

The compact design and excellent balance of the  STIHL® FSA 70 R, as well as the circular handle with soft components , ensure optimum flexibility and freedom of movement when mowing – particularly practical for maneuvering between trees and bushes or working in other confined spaces. In addition, the tool-free adjustable circular handle makes it easy to adapt the machine to the user's height, allowing you to enjoy an ergonomic working position at all times .

The FSA 70 R battery-powered trimmer is so quiet that you can use it without hearing protection, even in noise-sensitive areas.

It comes standard with the  STIHL® AutoCut C 12-2 trimmer head , which can be replaced without tools. Alternatively, the optional  STIHL® PolyCut 12-2 trimmer head with plastic blades can be used. This can also be replaced without tools. The  STIHL® FSA 70 R also has a hanging eyelet for wall mounting.
